In this uneven reworking of Dickens's A Christmas Carol, Stine takes school bully Rick Scroogeman (who thinks he's just having "fun" with his victims) on the iconic ghostly visits to Christmases past, present, and future. The experience rehabilitates Rick through a mixture of horror (animate snowmen; zombies) and shaming (he realizes all his classmates hate him).
