All this cold and snow in the last few weeks has been a wonderful excuse to read!! Make sure you stock up before any more snow hits! And remember please call ahead on days when the weather is questionable in case we are closed. We want to be open to serve our patrons, but we also want everyone to stay safe! When in doubt stay home! You can always call in and leave us a message to renew a library item.
The “Winter Water Color” event with Carolyn Reeder was so popular we unfortunately had to stop accepting RSVPs. We are considering having a second night of it, so if you are interested please let us know by contacting us on Facebook, via e-mail, or by phone. And if you have other craft night or event ideas please let us know! So long as we can afford it, we want to offer what you the people are interested in!
Story hours are in full swing again! We will have our Friday morning story hour each Friday morning starting at 10:00 am from now until March 1st. This story time is geared towards 2-5 year olds and includes crafts, activities, books and a snack. Children who attend must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Also please remember if school is 2 hours late or canceled we unfortunately will also cancel story hour. Upcoming themes include Valentines, Snow, Feed the Birds, and Dr. Seuss.
Our
next evening story hour will be at 6:30 on Tuesday February 12th
with a Valentine’s Day theme. Please join us for a craft, activity, story, and
snack!
The Library will be CLOSED Monday February 18th in honor of Presidents' Day.
Our afternoon movie will be held on February 19th at 1:00 pm. Join us for a showing of “Sully” and free popcorn!
