Becoming a Teen Volunteer

TEENS

Are you between 14 and 17 years of age and need to earn service credits this school year?  Please check with your local library for service opportunities and application procedures.

The Nueces County Public Library utilizes teen volunteers on a year round basis. Teens assist staff with Summer Reading Programs and other special projects throughout the year. Teens typically help with shelving, storytime programming and give general support related to the Youth Services Department. Contribute something unique and lend a hand at your local library. Join the library team of teen volunteers!

Please read the handout below for more information.
