Throughout my life, Thanksgiving has been an unabashed celebration of family, garnished with massive quantities of turkey and too many pies to count.

I am a Chicoan. More than that, I am a Californian. While I was born in Chico, I've also moved away — twice — and have spent more than half my life in other parts of California.
