Directions: From the south (US 19/287), continue north on US 19/Crocket Road, past the Anderson County Courthouse, to Palestine Ave. At this intersection, make a left. Immediately, there is a stop light. Continue one block past the light to Cedar Street. Turn left (south) into a residential neighborhood. The library is half a block on the right. There is limited parking in front of the library. A large lot is available for the library on the Fowler Street side (back) of the library. From the southwest, continue northeast on US 79/84, past Loop 256 (McCoy’s Lumber is located at that intersection), past Ben E. Keith Distributors to the intersection with US 19/287. This intersection is identifiable by the “Welcome” sign painted on the embankment. Continue for exactly one mile which brings the driver to Fowler Street. Turn right into the residential neighborhood. Continue for a half block to the large parking lot in the rear of Palestine Public Library. From the northwest (Dallas area via US 19), continue south on US 19/287, past the Civic Center, under Loop 256, to the intersection with Palestine Avenue. This intersection is identifiable by the “Welcome” sign painted on the embankment. Turn left at this intersection and continue for exactly one mile which brings the driver to Fowler Street. Turn right into the residential neighborhood. Continue for a half block to the large parking lot in the rear of Palestine Public Library. From the north (Tyler area via US 155), continue south on US 155 under Loop 256, past the US Post Office, to the intersection with Palestine Avenue. Turn right and continue one block to Cedar Street. Turn left (south) into a residential neighborhood. The library is half a block on the right. There is limited parking in front of the library. From the northeast via US 79, cross Loop 256, and continue on Palestine Avenue to the first stop light at the intersection with US 155. Continue one block to Cedar Street. Turn left (south) into a residential neighborhood. The library is half a block on the right. There is limited parking in front of the library. A large lot is available for the library on the Fowler Street side (back) of the library. From the east via US 84, cross Loop 256, and continue on Park Avenue to the first stop light at Crockett Road.
