Read It, Watch It
On the 2nd Tuesday of the month, we meet to watch a movie and then compare/contrast it with the book it is based on. If you're a fan of books and cinema, this is the group for you! Meets at 5:30PM in the Louis Room.
Thursday Morning Book Discussion
This group meets in the 2nd floor Founders Room at 10:15 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
Brown Bag Bood Discussion
Books for discussion are available near the first floor Circulation Desk about one month prior to the discussion. Books on CD and large print may be available, or we can inter-library loan items.

A nurse from U.V.M.C. will be at the Circulation Desk on the second Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

6:30-8:00 pm every Thursday, (except when the Library is closed)
Kit has a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Communications
and has been writing for years.
No need to sign up in advance, just come!

NAR-ANON is for family and friends of addicts.
This 12-step program is anonymous and there are no fees to attend.
We may be able to help you find answers. We've been there, too.

Wish you could have a genealogist help with your family tree?
Stop by the Local History Department on Friday afternoons from 1:30-5:00 pm and ask for Sharon.
She has set aside this time to help with those beginning their search or just "stuck" back in time.
Like to crochet, knit, embroidery, etc. but don't always have time? Come in to the first floor Louis Room on Wednesdays from 1:00-2:30 pm. Bring your project and share ideas while working on your project. We've been learning to crochet, but you're welcome to bring any portable project, (please nothing too messy).
