The Pomona Public Library is now a Passport Acceptance Agency. Individuals may apply for a U.S. Passport at the Library. Appointments are required.

Passport Application forms may be obtained at the Library, or downloaded from the Internet at :http://travel.state.gov/download_applications.html

All applicants are asked to bring the following items on the day of their appointment:

Proof of Citizenship—a previous passport or a certified copy of your birth certificate.

Proof of Identity—current driver’s license, recently issued certificate of naturalization, or recently issued government I.D. card

Photographs—two identical, 2” x 2” square, full faced. You can now have these pictures taken at the Library!

Passport Photo Fee:

$10.00 per person (2 high resolution photos from our state-of-the-art Sony Digital camera)

Passport Fees:

Child (0 - 15 yrs.) = $85.00*
Age 16 and older (10 year passport) —– $100.00 **
Expedite Fee Service —– additional $ 60.00 ea.

*Applicants must write two separate checks or money orders: $60.00 payable to U.S. Department of State; $25 payable to Pomona Public Library (Pricing effective May 5, 2008)

Regular passport processing requires 4 weeks
To expedite and overnight mail requires 3 weeks.

Application forms are available in the Passport Office, located on the lower level next to Library Administration.

Hours for appointments:
Mon through Thu: 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.
Fri and Sat: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
