*Summer Reading Program
June 22– August 12, 2009
Sign up to read five or more hours to earn free books and other great prizes. For every five hours read, kids and teens will be entered into the Reader of the Week Raffle for a special prize! Sign ups begin Monday June 22, in the Children’s room and end on August 1. The Children’s Room may be reached at (909) 620-2043 x2730.

Get creative at our FREE weekly craft programs for the summer! Crafts are appropriate for children ages 4 and up.

Dress Rehearsal, August 4 at 4:00pm
Everyone has a special talent, come express yours at our Talent Show! Youth ages 4-16 are invited to perform a dance, song, tricks, or any unique talent. All participants must be available to attend a dress rehearsal on August 4 at 4:00pm in order to participate in the show. Sign up at the Children’s Desk.
*Reading Buddies
June 22- July 30, 12:00-4:00pm
Encourage good reading skills over the summer in your elementary student. School aged children that have learned to read may read aloud to a volunteer in one-on-one, half-hour sessions. Students must register at the Children’s Desk.
High School and College aged volunteers are needed to mentor younger students who are practicing their reading skills. Applications are available at the Children’s Desk.
*Storytime
Parents with children ages 0-5 years old are invited to enjoy stories, songs, and more. No registration is required.
Preschool Storytime
July 7— August 11, Tuesdays, 10:15am for children, ages 2-5 years old.
Infant and Toddler Storytime
July 9— August 14, Thursdays, 10:15am for ages 0-2 years old.
