For the younger patrons, there is a children's area within the library with books, sound recordings and other materials.

Crayons and coloring pages are provided, plus a variety toys and puppets to capture a child's imagination.


Children's Programming:

Currently, the library offers several programs for children.

There is a lap-sit program for infants and toddlers and their caregivers.

For pre-schoolers, there are story hours. These can include stories, finger plays, poems, songs, craft projects or games.

For older students, there are story sessions followed by a craft or activity.


Attention Parents of children under age 5:

Stop by the library and pick up your registration form for the "Imagination Library Books From Birth" program so your child can start
receiving a free book every month until his or her 5th birthday.
