Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Library have opened the book sale in the hallway of the library. It will remain open during the normal business hours of the library.We add to it daily so come by and get some bargains. Hardcover books range in pricing from $1.00 - $10.00, most paperbacks are $.50 and magazines are $.10. Sometimes you will find something more than just books. We appreciate all donations. |
Library Expansion
The Library is out of space and needs to expand. We are in the fundraising stage of building an 11,000 square foot addition. In order to meet our required goal we will need the support of the community. We hope to start construction this year. The picture is a sketch of what the main entrance to the library would look like. You may see it around town. Included in the plans is a new children's section, a reading room, computer lab, study rooms, a larger meetin room, more young adult space as well as a Tennessee history and genealogy research room in the Bailey Museum.
