Fines are assessed for items not returned by the date they are due. The rates per day are:
Books $0.05
Compact Discs $0.05
Audio Tapes $0.05
Magazines $0.05
DVDs and Videos $2.00
Fees are charged for lost or damaged materials.
The fees are:
Books, hardback $20.00
Books, paperback collection $5.00
Compact Discs $15.00
Audio Tapes $15.00
Magazines $5.00
DVDs and Videos $25.00
Patrons with five or more items overdue or who owe the Library $5 or more will have library privileges suspended.
Patrons with materials more than 28 days overdue will be assessed a $20 processing fee for each item.
Patrons who owe the Library more than $20 have 15 days to take care of the obligation. After 15 days, the bill will be turned over to a collection agency and an additiona $9.95 will be charged to the patron's account.
