Library Services: Available to residents of Russell County and some non-residents.
Obtaining a Library Card
- Present two forms of identification.
- Children must be able to sign their name.
Materials
- Large print books available.
- Books,CD's, audio cassettes, & magazines can be checked out for 21 days.
- Videos can be checked out for 7 days. (Limit three per family).
- DVD's can be checked out for 7 days. (Limit two per family).
Interlibrary Loan
- Books not available at the local library may be available through interlibrary loan.
- Materials may be borrowed from other libraries at no charge through participating libraries of Kentucky.
- If the book is shipped from out of state, there is a $2.50 postage charge.
Copy Service
- 25¢ per page.
- 40¢ for front and back.
- $1.00 for color copies.
Meeting Room
- Charge for Room ($50/cash deposit) $5/Hr.
- Hourly charge that does not exceed the deposit will be deducted from deposit.
- Any remainder will be returned upon inspection of room and return of key.
Reference
- Reference service is available by phone.
Audio -Visual Equipment
- Audio-visual equipment may be borrowed at no charge such as: overhead projectors, slide projectors, filmstrip projectors and screens.
- We have a Data Projector available for use by established community groups at the discretion of the Director.
