Did you know you can get a library card free of charge even if you don't live in Wylie?. If you would like a library card, please fill out an application and show proof of your current address (license, current bill, etc.) Library Services provided to the citizens of Wylie include five public internet access computers and two word processing computers , a copier, equipment checkout, magazine checkout, phone renewals, reserves on materials that are checked out and weekly preschool story times on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. An interlibrary loan service is available for the Library to request materials from other libraries for patrons. Electronic resources are available in the Library and through the Texas State Electronic Library. If you have a library card, you can access the databases outside the library. Please call the library and get a user name and password. Books and audiovisual materials are available to checkout for three weeks. Videos and DVD’s are available to checkout for seven days.
