AquaBrowser Library is an intelligent search engine designed to help you find your information in a pro-active way.

Searching is easy: Just enter some words in the text box above and press Enter (or click 'Search'). You will get search results, ranked by relevance. Click on a result to get a more detailed description.

On the left side of the screen, you see a moving graphic with words that appear based on relevancy your query. These words are suggestions for you click on to discover new information and help you in formulating your query. These suggestions consist of translations (to another language), spelling variations (to correct for spelling mistakes or words that can be spelled in more than one way) and associations (or stemming from your original term). Click on any of these words to explore the catalog, using the word you clicked on to point out direction and your entered query as the context.

On the right side of the screen, you'll see lists of possible options to refine your result set. These options range from refining by a specific subject, or a specific person, or a general category, or a language, et cetera. Clicking an option filters your results so only those results having your option in it, remain.

Finally, the center of the screen is the set of results. These are ranked automatically by relevancy to your search term, or relevancy to any way that you have manipulated the search by clicking on the left or right of the screen. By clicking on any of the results here, you will open the item's record. This record page offers all the same information you are used to in your library’s catalog, with details such as jacket cover (where available), item location, status, format, etc.

In the 'Discover' part, the size and color of the words in the constellation have meaning:

Word size: the larger a word, the more relevant it is deemed by the automatic relevancy algorithm. A word's position in the constellation has no direct meaning.
