Borrowing Rules

Anyone who lives, works, or goes to
school in South Orange is eligible for a
library card. Other Essex County residents
are welcome to use their ReBl card to
check out material that we own.

Computer Usage

Word processing and Internet access are
available to anyone . Usage is on a first
come basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Time may be limited.
Paper and media
discs are available at
nominal cost
at the Library.

Circulation Terms

New Fiction - 7 days (over 400 pgs 14 days)
Old Fiction - 28 days
Non-Fiction - 28 days (unless reserved)
C.D.s - 7 days
Videos, DVDs - 7-days
Children's Books - 14 days

Reference material and magazines do not circulate.
Patrons are allowed to have out a maximum of 2 DVD's and 3 Video's at one time.
Patron must be 17 to take out DVD's and Video's located in the Adult section of the Library.

Fine Schedule

Children's Items - .05 / day
Adult Books - .10 / day
Videos, DVDs $1.00 / day
Audios under 6 tapes - .10 / day
Audios 6 tapes plus - .50 / day
