Due to the amount of staff time required and the responsibility of accounting for funds, the library cannot allow the sales or promotions of any items in its facilities which do not directly benefit the library. However, exceptions to this policy may be made when the benefits to the library or community can be clearly demonstrated and demands on staff time are acceptable. The branch supervisor, in consultation with the library director, shall decide if exceptions are to be made. The final arbiter of adverse decisions shall be the library board.
