Fines are charged each day a book is overdue. Each item that is overdue will have a separate fine. FINES PER DAY Books $.10 Periodicals $.10 Bound Periodicals $.10 Pamphlets $.10 Books on Tape/CD $.10 Cassette Tapes $.10 Records $.10 Video Cassettes/DVDs $1.00 Compact Discs $.25 Maximum fines are $10.00 per item for all Sterling Public Library material. Anyone having fines in excess of $3.00 or overdue material may not check out more library material or use the Internet until all charges have been paid.
