You can check the status of your library account online by going to any page of the Sterling Public Library website and clicking on My Account located to the right of the catalog search. You will be taken to a page and asked to enter your Patron ID Number (the 14 digit number on your library card- no spaces!), and your PIN number. Once in the My Account page you will be able to view the information in your patron record, including how many items you currently have checked out and their due dates, items you have on hold, and overdue items and fines. Also on this page you can renew your books! To do this just check the items you want renewed and click Renew Checked Items. The computer will tell you whether or not your renewal request was successful. Just remember that books can only be renewed one time, and if someone is on hold for the book, or you have fines or overdue items the computer will not renew your books.
