December is Amnesty Month!
December is amnesty month for Surrey Township Public Library. If you bring in your overdue materials, all fines from those materials will be waived. This only applies to the Surrey Township Public Library materials, check with your local library if they will have an amnesty month. All materials can be returned to the front desk or to the book drop in the back. If you have any questions, please contact us at 989-588-9782.
Teen Room Users!
Due to the behavior of patrons we have not opened the teen room back up and we have not set a date to reopen. There has been a lot of destruction of property and lack of respect for the staff of the library. Until these issues have been resolved the teen room will remain closed. This room was made to give teenagers in our service area a place to hang out, but it is a privilege. We apologize if this causes an inconvenience, we know that not every teen patron is responsible. When the behavior issues have been dealt with privileges will be restored. If they do not, computer use will be restricted. Until then juvenile patrons will be restricted to the main wing of the building unless looking for reading materials.
