Meet Your Librarians
| Jean Gaskill Jean is a Farwell High School graduate. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is currently attending the Wayne State School of Library and Information Science. She has been at the library since 2002 and became the director in 2006. She is a mother and grandmother. Her roommate is Gustofer, her Shih-Tzu. She’s interested in politics and paranormal activities. She even got the chance to meet Jay and Grant from Ghosthunters. Her favorite book series is Harry Potter. Nona Harmon Nona is a Farwell High School graduate and has her Bachelor’s degree from Almedia University. She began working at the library in 1982 and is now the Assistant Director. She is the mother of 2 and grandmother of 10. Her favorite part about her job is visiting with patrons. Her favorite book is Where are the Children? by Mary Higgins Clark.  Philip Montague Philip is also a graduate from Farwell High school. He started working the circulation desk in 2004. Philip is an identical twin and loves to cook and hike. Although he couldn’t narrow down his favorite book he enjoys any series that has 3 or more books in them.  Summer Spencer Summer graduated from Farwell High School and has her Associates in Communication Studies degree from Mid Michigan Community College. She started at the library in 2007 and is the Public Relations and Marketing Manager. She is married to her high school sweetheart with 2 dogs and 3 cats to keep them company. Her favorite series is the Mercedes Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs and her favorite graphic novel is The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman.  Ethan Honeycutt Ethan began working at the library in 2007 and is a Circulation Clerk. He is a civil war re-enactor and is involved with the Christian Cowboys.  Jaimey Stephens Jaimey is a graduate of Houghton Lake High School and began working at the library this year as a Library Aide. Her step-sister, Brandy Lanae, wrote the book Sapphire Dreams. Her favorite book is Captivated & Entranced by Nora Roberts.  |
