Support Your Library - Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Temple Public Library support the library both through volunteer work and through fundraising. They support much of our children's programming like the craft program shown above.

Their primary fundraisers are the two book sales which takes place over the Labor Day Weekend and in the early spring. Donations for the book sale are accepted at the library year round. Proceeds from the book sale are used to purchase items for the library. Members of the Friends of the Library are invited to a special preview sale before the sale opens to the public.  Membership forms are available at the library circulation desk.

The Friends Labor Day Used Book Sale this year will be August 28-31, 2013 in the McLane Room, on the 3rd floor of the library building. Sale hours are: Wednesday and Thursday, August 28 & 29 from 10 to 8, and Friday and Saturday August 30 & 31 from 10 to 4. If you are a member of the Friends, you will be invited to the Members Preview on Tuesday August 27 from 5-8.
