Adult reading group: The West End Library's Adult Reading Group meets monthly and is open to anyone who is interested in reading and discussing books in an informal atmosphere. At 6 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 8, the group will discuss biographies that members read during the summer. “Surprise” books will be distributed for the Oct. 6 meeting.
