Forty for Forty Campaign Join Friends of the Library in 2009 as we celebrate the April 20, 1969 opening of library on the site of the former Smith Hotel. Give to the Forty for Forty campaign by donating $40 to purchase a book in honor, memory, or to recognize a local business/individual. A Fortieth Birthday celebration will be held Thursday, April 16 from 2:00-4:00 at the Union Parish Library.
