Our Mission Statement:

"WEST FELICIANA PARISH LIBRARY provides West Feliciana Parish Citizens of all ages free access to materials in print, in audio visual and electronic formats, and offers opportunities for cultural enrichment in the arts and for lifelong learning." West Feliciana Parish Library became independent in January,2004, after a long association with Audubon Regional Library System (which today includes East Feliciana and Sr. Helena Parishes). The Library moved to its present site at 11865 Ferdinand in 1996 where it took up residence in the recently vacated US Post Office. Since then, its Library Board of Control has strived to improve every aspect of library service. The Library provides the only public access computers (10 workstations)in the Parish, as well as being a wireless hotspot for anyone wishing to use their own computers. Programming is limited because of space (we have 2700 square feet) but events are offered to children, teens and adults. There is an excellent Louisiana non-fiction collection, a genealogy section & database, a warm & friendly children's area, and an excellent staff of 7. The lovely oak trees and surrounding Jordan Truitt gardens are inviting to patrons and visitors alike. A statue of St. Francisville adorns a bricked seating area available for conversation and relaxation.
