Playaway Audio Books PLAYAWAY® Audiobooks. Pre-loaded and portable.
Playaways are self-contained audiobooks. With Playaways all-in-one format there are no cassettes or CDs to count. Playaways small size and portability make them very convenient.
The only thing you need is a pair of headphones. Or, if you listen to audiobooks in the car and your automobile’s sound system has a place to plug in an MP3 player, just plug in a Playway and enjoy.
Each Playaway holds an entire audiobook, regardless of length. Play time depends on the length of the title. Using only a few buttons, you can easily navigate back and forth through a chapter, adjust volume up and down, and even alter the speed of a narrator’s voice. Playways have an automatic bookmark feature that remembers where you stopped and starts where you left off the next time you are ready to listen.
Every Playaway comes pre-loaded with a standard AAA battery that will provide an average of 20 hours of play time. The library does not provide replacement batteries.
