The Internet public access computers are provided by the library district and designed for everyone to use. Our goal is to make this service as accessible to the public as possible.
The Windsor Severance Library District does not monitor and has no control of information accessed over the Internet. The Internet contains information which may be inaccurate, outdated, or offensive. The computers in the Children's area area are filtered in compliance with the Children's Internet Protection Act. However, parents and guardians are ultimately responsible for the Internet information selected and/or accessed by their children.
Participation in chat rooms will not be allowed on the Internet computers. The computers are provided to fill the reference and informational needs of the public.
Written permission must be obtained from parents or guardians of children under 18 years of age for Internet access.
