This documentary film debuted at the Tribeca film festival after a tour of screenings in Patagonia stores. It represents this month's Science Cafe event.
More than a movie about the plight of wild salmon, Artifishal explores what it means to be human beings who are uniquely capable of soaring achievements of ingenuity and, at the same time, such aggressive and lethal poor judgment! Discussion will be led by Jackie Curnick from the University of Iowa's Environmental Health Sciences Research Center. Jackie has experience in Alaska with conservation and documentary filmmaking, and she sat on the Artifishal panel in Iowa City.
