MATINEE BOOK CLUB
The library's Matinee Book Club is for folks who like thought-provoking fiction . . . and it meets the first Wednesday of every month from 1:00-3:00pm.
Attendees take turns choosing the book that the group will read in preparation for the next meeting. Then they spend a couple hours in the Conference Room, enjoying a lively discussion.
March's book selection is Bel Canto, by Ann Patchett.
Group size is limited to 12. That way, there's adequate time for everyone to be heard. As of February 17, nine people had registered. So give us a call at 472-6551 x2 to ask about the current status. To register, simply stop by the front desk and borrow a copy of the book. The cost is only $2 to cover the interlibrary loan fee, and the books are ready for immediate pickup.
We look forward to seeing you!
