True Friends. . . . . .

The Friends of the Alice Public Library were established in 1985 and provide funds for books and special programs. Through their annual book sale they have funded the Lease Book Program, special programs for the Children’s Department, including furniture and sponsoring authors and presenters for the Summer Reading Program. They have provided computers and a reader printer. The Friends also provide many hours of volunteer services, support library causes, and promote public awareness and community involvement in library activities.
