Please be advised that beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2009, there will be a small increase in fees for all of our 4 public libraries. Printouts from computers will cost $.15. New patron cards will cost $1.00 and replacement cards will cost $3.00. These increases are due to increases in library supplies over the last several years.

If you are a library cardholder and you'd like to access your account to place holds on items or renew items, you'll be asked for "Patron / Alternate ID Number." What's that? It's your library card number, which can be found on the front of your library card. You'll also be asked for a PIN, which is the last four digits of your phone number. If you have questions, contact your local library.

If you or someone you know, for any reason are unable to get to your library and you would like bookmobile service, please call the Nantahala Regional Library at 837-2025.
