Summer Reading Book Bundles
Read Beyond the Beaten Path!
Beginning Monday, May 9th until Saturday, August 13th,
Fluvanna County Public Library patrons will be able to quickly & easily request & pick up pre-selected books for children (infants to 12 years of age) by completing a simple online form available on our website or directly at Summer Reading Book Bundle Form.
This is a great way to encourage reading while schools are out & families are on the go!
A Summer Reading Book Bundle consists of 5-10 books specifically geared towards your child's reading level and likes. These bundles will keep your child engaged, learning, and eager to return to the library over the summer.
All books read during this
same time frame count towards our
Read Beyond the Beaten Path
2022 Summer Reading Program!!
Reading (or being read to) for 15 minutes allows infants & children up to age 8 to mark off 1 dot on a KID reading log.
Children 9 to 12 years old must read for 30 minutes to mark a dot off their TWEEN reading log.
Once 10 dots are marked complete, children should bring their log back to the library in order to win a free book OR a spin of the prize wheel.
Once a reading log is complete, they will be collected at the front desk for a chance to win a BIG prize at the end of the summer!
