Download and print a reading log or just start keeping track on a piece of paper! 
Keep track and save up your logs for when we re-open to the public!

ALL Reading Logs NOW due Saturday, September 12.

Starting Monday, August 3 kids, tweens, and teens that want to turn in their logs and pickup prizes can call the Library and we will do this curbside or under the walkway.  We have created prize boards and prizes can be chosen from them.  Please make sure your name and phone number are filled out on your reading logs.  For larger famlies, it would help if you called ahead so we know when you are coming.  For Adults - place your entry forms in a baggy or envelope and put them in the book drop.

Kids/Tweens - can get up to 10 prizes

Teens - can get up to 10 prizes - prizes 1-3 are from the Teen Prize Board, prize 4 is choice of a mug or water bottle, and prizes 5-10 are $5 gift cards.

Big prizes will now be drawn after the new dealine of September 12 (giving time for items turned in that day to come out of quarantine).

Fluvanna Library Computer Room “By Appointment Only”

The Fluvanna Library’s computer room will be open “By Appointment ONLY!”  This service is for ESSENTIAL USE ONLY.  Checking email, printing documents, filing for unemployment and other benefits, etc.  We are offering this service because we know many need this access, please be respectful and use it for something you NEED.


Appointments will start on the hour at 10 a.m. Monday-Saturday and are for 45 minutes unless by special arrangement.   This allows time to disinfect the computer station before the next user.

• We are enforcing 1 appointment per person per day policy at this time. 
• Only the individual with the appointment may enter the library.  Special arrangements can be made for single parents and caregivers if needed.
• There will be a limit of 6 appointments per time slot. 
• Printing will be available free of charge at this time. 
Masks will be required the entire time you are in the Library and will be provided if you don’t have one. 
• Staff will provide limited assistance.
Headphones will not be provided, please bring your own.
• Appointments are limited to the computer room only.
NO WALK-INS ARE ALLOWED!
• If you are not feeling well the day of your appointment, please call us to reschedule.

Appointments are by phone only.  To make an appointment call the Library at (434) 589-1400 during operating hours.  Appointments can be made no more than 7 days in advance.

All items can be returned in the book returns.  If you have A LOT please return in batches.
If you have puzzles either hold on to those or if it during operating hours leave them outside the door.

Staff will still be answering the phone (434) 589-1400 and email (fluvannalibrary@gmail.com) - we can help with putting items on hold, answer questions, etc. 

Curb Side to Go
You can put items on HOLD via the card catalog or give us a call - we will pull the items and call you when they are available to pick up at the curb.  If you do not have specific titles we are more than willing to pull by genre, based on favorite authors, or suggested reading lists.  We will even pull a sampling from the New Book of New DVD shelf.
