Belmond Public Library Foundation

The Board of Trustees of the Library formed the Belmond Public Library Foudnation in 1983 to receive and administer gifts of money and property for the benefit of the library. There is a strong precedent of private giving to the library and the present building is a tribute to those who care about the quatlity of learning and serives in our community. 

The Library Foudnation sponsors the Adopt-a-Magazine initiative each year to financially support the library's magazine collection. They have been an important part major building renovations, technology improvements and maintenance projects. 

There are many ways to contribute to the Foundation.

Contributions may take the form of

Cash Gifts
Gifts of property
Girst of stocks or securities
Memorial gifts honoring relatives or friends
Gifts through corporations and businesses
Bequests in wills
