ISU Extension and Outreach in Kossuth County Offering Good Nutrition on a Budget Program
Algona, Iowa – Looking for practical ways to eat well while keeping grocery costs in check? Make plans to join ISU Extension and Outreach in Kossuth County and the Bancroft Public Library for an upcoming program, Good Nutrition on a Budget.
Good Nutrition on a Budget will be held on Tuesday, March 12, from 10 to 11 am at the Bancroft Public Library (208 E Ramsey St., Bancroft). Participants will learn about Spend Smart. Eat Smart, an online resource available through ISU Extension and Outreach. Participants will also learn about: saving money by using grocery store ads, completing a menu plan, writing a grocery list, and using unit pricing to select the best buy.
