  • Preschool Storytime on Wednesdays at 10:30 am.
  • Teen Book Club
  • The Teen Book Club will meet at 8 am on Tuesday, February 9 in the Media Center at Roanoke Rapids High School. The next Public Library meeting will be in the conference room on Tuesday, February 16 at 6 pm. Teens from grades 9-12 discuss books they are currently reading.
  • Writer's Group
  • Monday, February 8th, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. For people interested in writing to share stories, essays and ideas.
  • Enhancing Your Life
  • Tuesday, February 9, 5 pm - 6:30 pm. "To Grow or Not to Grow" featuring special guest Matthew Stevens, Horticulture Extension Agent for Halifax County Cooperative Extension. This program will focus on gardening techniques pertaining to the Roanoke Valley.

  • Monday, February 15, 6 pm - 6:45 pm. Barbara Massey will speak about the changes in the tax code this year and answer questions from the audience.
