Friends Of The Alma Public Library
The Friends Of The Alma Public Library is a non-profit organization formed to promote the library in the community and to support the Library staff. Activities include fund-raising and sponsorship of library programming.  The Friends Of The Alma Public Library Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Library. Interested citizens are welcome at Board Meetings and/or to function as auxiliary members . Call the Library for Friends Of The Alma Public Library contact information.

Founded in 2007, the Friends of the Alma Public Library is a non-profit organization created to enhance and expand library services through activities that support library staff, facilities and programs. Over the years the Friends have raised funds to enhance children's programming, sponsored speakers and author talks, and hosted themed fundraising events. By joining the Friends, you can help support and improve programs and facilities at your favorite library!

 

The Friends of the Alma Public Library meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at the library. Anyone is welcome to attend. For more information or to be put in contact with a Library Friend to learn more, contact library staff at 989-463-3966.

 

Can't become a Friend at this time? Then consider becoming a Friends Volunteer!  Volunteers help out with specific tasks, such as greeting guests at a Friends event, creating event promotional flyers, helping set up and clean up events, helping create displays, and so on.
