Mission Statement: The mission of the Friends of the Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library is to promote and support the library.

The friends support and promote the library through projects, such as an Annual Book Sale, a booth at the Art Fair in July, acting as Guest Readers in the Children's Room or tasks such as re-shelving library books.
In the past, the Friends of the Library have used the money generated from their projects to provide special events for the Summer Reading programs, necessary items for our community rooms and an outdoor sign for the Library.
