How to Access E-Books and E-Audiobooks

Patrons have access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks and magazines available to download to your personal device for free. 

You can download and access e-books and e-audiobooks from most electronic devices, such as: 

  • Apple iPhones and iPads
  • Phones and Tablets with Google Play
  • Amazon Fire Tablets and Amazon Kindle
  • Laptop and Desktop Computers

If you need help accessing e-books and e-audiobooks with your Pioneer Memorial Library card account, call us at (830) 997-6513 or email us using the Contact Us link at the top of the page. 

Please note: not all titles availabe as e-books or e-audiobooks are available due to licensing restrictions. Also, many new releases such as new books and best sellers may not be immediately available. 

 

 

 

Library patrons also have access to e-books and e-audiobooks through the CloudLibrary app and website. 

To get started, download the CloudLibrary app on your device and log in with your library card info. 

Note: CloudLibrary is not availabe on Kindle Paperwhite

The CloudLibrary program is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) E-Read Texas Program and funded by the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

                 

 

The library has contracted with OverDrive to make an e-book and e-audiobook collection available to our patrons through the Libby app. 

To get started, download the Libby app on your device and log in with your library card info.
