Tai Chi and Yoga

 

Relax, refresh and recharge at the library.  

We offer weekly classes to help you with this:  Tai Chi, and Yoga.

 

Tai Chi

Tuesdays at 11:00am

 

Tai Chi is the slow-moving, centuries-old martial art.  Tai Chi can:

Help obtain balance (both physical and mental)
Keep the body supple
Improve physical and emotional well-being
Increase energy and endurance
Help reduce stress
Help reduce blood pressure
Provide a sense of serenity

Janet Snelgrove leads the group.  Participants are encouraged to seek their own pace.  Wear loose fitting clothing—be comfortable!  Everyone is welcome.

Yoga

Fridays at 10:30am

 

Vicki leads the group.  This class is open to all ages and ability levels.  Bring your own yoga mat and a hand towel.
