Children

Welcome to our Children's Department.   We have storytime, special programs, and a summer reading program to entertain and educate children.    Our children's room houses books and materials appropriate for children from birth through the 8th grade. We have books, movies, music, audiobooks, and toys.  We also have resources for parents and teachers.   Check out our computer lab, which includes special touch-screen computers designed with children in mind.   We have plenty of comfortable areas to sit and enjoy a book.  We have friendly and knowledgeable staff who are willing to help you find just the right book.

Storytime:

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age kids!  All are welcome at our storytime.  It is a fun time for all ages.  We read, laugh, dance, sing, rhyme and there is always a fabulous craft.   Storytime provides a foundation for building a lifelong love of books and reading.

Storytime returns after the holidays on January 17th with an all new spring series exploring our library!
