Meeting rooms are available to be reserved at the Maud Preston Palensky Memorial Library. They are free to use for non-profit and community groups, but donations are suggested. They are available during our business hours only.

How to reserve a room:
1. You may utilize the meeting room calendar to see when there may be some availability.
2. You will need to fill out a form for the reservation prior to your meeting. You may fill out this form in advance, but be aware that you are NOT guaranteed the room reservation until you have been contacted and your reservation has been confirmed by library staff.
3. Fax or email the completed form to the library. Fax: (269) 775-5755 or libraryoffice@sjcity.com
4. Wait for confirmation from staff hat the room is reserved.

1. Call the library @ 269-983-7167 and ask about reserving a room.
2. Personnel will assist you in scheduling one of our community rooms, and discuss availability.
Community rooms are available on a first come-first serve basis, with Library events taking precedence. Please note that the library calendar shows only Library events, and does not indicate when the rooms are in use.
Certain for-profit activities may be scheduled if space is available. An example would be use of the rooms for taking legal depositions, classes, or counseling sessions. For these activities, a suggested donation of $25/hr. will be requested in advance to cover library costs.
Available Rooms:
Norris Room
This room is on our main level. It has a bank of windows and can be quite cozy. It comfortably seats 60.
Felland Auditorium
This room is on our lower level. It is the larger room. There is elevator access to the lower level, if necessary. It will seat approx. 90.
Gallery
This is a large conference table and is located just outside of the Norris room. It is a non-private room, perfect for small groups. Seats up to 10.
