Teens

(7th - 12th grade)

Located just inside the front door to the library is our Teen Room.   This room houses materials appropriate for 7th-12th graders.   We have books, audiobooks, graphic novels, non-fiction and magazines.   We have special programming for teens, a teen advisory board, and a teen writing group.

Summer Reading

We have a summer reading program that is just for teens.   Teens read books of their choosing, earning 1 point per page.  Every 500 points, they earn a prize, and a chance at the Grand Prize.    We also have a lot of fun events just for teens, including:  a murder mystery night,  a scavenger hunt, and a lock-in.   Check it out!

TAB - Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board is open to any teen 7th-12th grade.  We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month,  September - June.  We meet monthly for food and fun while we talk about books and movies, plan teen events, and get involved at the library.  So if you are a party planner, a gamer, a reader or just hungry for food and fun -- come on in!

Teen Writer's Group

Join our writing group just for teens.  We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 3:30pm.
